About Services

We are pleased to offer a broad range of health, prevention and wellness services to our patients. We love our patients and feel privileged to be able to serve so many wonderful people in our community. We take pride in giving personalized care to infants, children, adults and the elderly. Our youngest patient in our 35 year history was 6 hours old and our oldest patient was 99 years old.

Few people realize that most insurance policies cover chiropractic care. In fact, BLUE CROSS/BLUE SHIELD, AETNA, PRIORITY HEALTH, GREAT WEST, CIGNA, UNITED HEALTHCARE, as well as MEDICARE, have covered chiropractic for years. These carriers recognize that chiropractic care effectively treats many musculoskeletal disorders. As a courtesy to you, our insurance secretary will do all the billing to the insurance companies for you.

Gentle Spinal Adjustments

Adjusting the spine is the cornerstone of chiropractic. We pride ourselves in the utilization of multiple techniques in order to provide the greatest service to our patients. Along with traditional manual adjustments, we may use special adjusting techniques that provide the gentlest alignment of the spine, with no cracking or popping noise, especially to the neck or cervical spine. We also have special adjusting techniques that provide the gentlest alignment of the spine to infants, children, pregnant women and the elderly.

Spinal Disc Decompression Therapy-What Is It Designed To Do?

Spinal Disc Compression is SAFE and PAINLESS alternative to back surgery for those 95% of patients whose conditions don’t demand surgical intervention or back surgery. It is designed to correct the underlying cause of your problem, not just relieve the symptoms.

Damaged intervertebral discs seldom heal on their own, as the discs are constantly under pressure. Decompression, or the reduction of pressure inside the discs, facilitates the transfer of the nucleus pulposus (jelly-like substance inside the disc) back into the center of the disc, resulting in the retraction of the bulging or herniated discs. Spinal decompression also facilitates the transfer of fluids, nutrients and oxygen back inside the disc resulting in the stabilization of herniated and degenerative discs.

Back and neck pain are the number one complaints in North America, affecting 80% of us at one time or another. These problems often mean a permanent loss of some function, forcing us to give up things in life no one should have to give up.

Many patients with acute, chronic or recurring pain feel improvement shortly after starting spinal disc decompression treatment. Find out how this treatment may help you and say goodbye to pain. Discover better health through chiropractic!

Intersegmental Traction

A form of traction therapy, where rollers roll up and down the spine, helping to resore normal flexibility and mobility to the spine. The rolling action pumps fluid into the discs, providing nutrition to thinned or dehydrated discs. It also relieves fixations and muscle spasms of the spine, giving more strength to the supporting structures of the spine. This allows chiropractic adjustments to hold longer. It is especially helpful for people with low back, mid back and neck pain; arthritis, degenerative disc and scoliosis.

Therapeutic Massage

We are excited to offer Medical Massage Therapy as an avenue of healthcare to our patients and the community. You don’t have to be a chiropractic patient in order to receive a massage in our clinic. However, we are well aware that the combination of chiropractic care and massage can produce miraculous results due to the fact that chiropractic care can help correct the underlying cause of tight muscles.

  • Provide clinical massage therapy for pain relief of various musculoskeletal conditions
  • Perform relaxation massage to relieve stress and muscle tension
  • Administer exercises, stretches and joint mobilization techniques to expedite healing
  • Increase joint ranges of motion
  • Decrease inflammation of muscles and joints

Custom-Made Orthotics

Back pain relief could be only two feet away!

Even if your feet don’t hurt, they may be a major factor contributing to your problems. Pain in various parts of your body may be traced directly to your feet! A foot problem may be the cause of discomfort or pain in your back, hips, legs, knees, arms, shoulders or even your neck. Custom-made orthotics may be part of the solution to your back problems.

It is not surprising that many knee, hip, and back pains are a result of poor functioning feet. Therefore your doctor may suggest customized foot orthotics for the treatment of:

  • Low Back Pain
  • Leg (sciatic) Pain
  • Hip Pain
  • Sacroiliac Joint Pain
  • Knee Pains
  • Chronic Neck Pain
  • Shoulder/Arm Pain
  • Whiplash
  • Headaches
  • Poor Posture
  • Pain between the Shoulders
  • Sports Injuries

Additional Benefits May Include:

  • Cushions and Supports the Foot
  • Improves Postural Stability
  • Reduces Foot and Leg Fatigue
  • Distributes Weight Evenly
  • Improves Balance and Control

When a patient presents with these problems, a careful examination of the spine is necessary. Ofter overlooked though, is the importance of the feet. Your feet must bear the weight of the entire body (and considerably more during some sports). Insufficient or inadequate support of the feet exposes the spine to abnormal stresses and strains that eventually develop into back pain or conditions mentioned above.

Your doctor can perform a few simple tests to determine if orthotics can help your condition. We know that what’s good for your feet is good for your whole body.

Custom orthotics help maintain the alignment provided by chiropractic adjustments and reduce skeletal stress and pain.
